![]() ![]() This stage is way too easy, considering it's Eggman's final level. It's basically Mad Space, but it's miles better because it doesn't have annoying gravity mechanics. This stage isn't as bad as Mad Space, but it's still annoying due to the fact that you are on a 5 minute time limit. I absolutely despise the ghosts in this level, but at least they aren't as bad as the gravity switches. It's bad enough that its main gimmick is hourglasses in a speed stage, but what's even worse are the ghosts. What's even worse is the surprise enemy placement. ![]() There is quicksand everywhere, and if you fall in, you die. However, the design is still pretty bad, so it gets penalized. It's basically Route 280, but there are more guardrails. The surprise enemy placement doesn't help either. ![]() The main gimmick of this stage is the dynamite packs, which while allowing you to gain points, also hinders your progress. It doesn't help that there are holes in some sections of the stage.Įasily the worst Tails stage. It might just be me, but the driving controls are slippery, and the design of the stage is awful. The last room is also really annoying to navigate. Like Mad Space, it has gravity mechanics, but they are in the form of gravity switches. I consider this to be not only Sonic's worst stage, but also the worst Hero Story stage. The Emerald Radar has been nerfed, the stage is huge and has gravity gimmicks, and the hints are either in reverse or flat out lies. We can pretty much all agree that Mad Space is the worst stage in the entire game. ![]()
